KEN ‘POOCH‘ VAN DRUTEN & PALMER

Who is he?

Ken Van Druten, aka "Pooch", has been interested in audio engineering ever since he was a kid. So he earned a degree in Music Production & Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston and moved to Los Angeles in search of success. There he ultimately found a permanent job as an audio engineer and since then works with incredibly big names such as Black Sabbath, KISS, Guns N‘ Roses, Slash, Motley Crüe, and many others. Pooch has already won numerous awards and is also on the road as a production and tour manager, currently with Linkin Park.

Why do we think that it is a good fit?

Pooch was one of the first Palmer endorsers. He was also one of the first who dared to say that they get their guitar sounds mainly through DI and not micing – which surprised many people at first. So there will always be a very special place for him in the Palmer family. We love Pooch!

What does Ken 'Pooch' Van Druten have to say about our products?

"The PDI09 and PDI03 are a permanent part of my equipment; they are at every concert. I use them for all of the guitars and always get compliments for my guitar sounds – they are my absolute secret weapons."
